The map has a cut, but after a lot of hunting, and checking all possibilities there is simply no way it can be done that fast. I confronted (http://i.imgur.com/yRTO6Gx.png) him about it, and he sent me the replay.

I know the rules say no walls of text, but i'm going to have to make a small one here, just so I can get all my points across.

I think all of the UIDs you sent can be brought down to luck, I'm a bit unsure about the second one, but it's not very uncommon for people to have crazy sectors on short lol/lucky maps. However, the record on 2xAjCjZUYEfxIYUswx0YkhYL5X0 isn't just luck.

I get that it's hard to base conclusions on maps like this, since as you say, it's pretty "loose". But let's think about it logically. Rundalis-2 is one of the best mini rpg players in TM and he's easily capable of doing world records in a short amount of time. He supposedly hunted that map 100+ hours. 100+ hours is a lot of time, and when you hunt a map for that long you don't just mindlessly repeat the same patterns over and over. You look for new techniques, new strategies, new lines, new places to gain time etc. And when we compare his replay, to my world record (uploaded on TMX) we see him losing 2 seconds before "his" cut.

Sure you can say that this was just an unlucky run, but he's not doing any of the fast techniques.
Not going through the little gap on the first jump, doing wallbang instead of drifting at Checkpoint 2, neosliding at the uphill drift afterwards, and also what's completely mind blowing to me, is at the end, after the "roofbang" , he goes for the wrong finish ??? He was about 0.10 ahead of and he went to the left finish, instead of the right. This is something that should be completely intuitive after over 100 hours of playing that map.
That does not make any sense.

Perhaps we can now deduce that he did not in fact hunt the map for "100+ hours". So why would someone lie about that? The only reason I can see would be because he wants to raise the likeliness of his cut being real, as in "looks very impossible, but after 100+ hours of attempts managed it once" When his driving clearly doesn't reflect what you could expect from one of the best mini rpg drivers after 100 hours on one map.

Now to the most problematic part about his replay, the cut.

1. Angle.
He maintains all of the speed in the landing with an angle that should seemingly guarantee a slowdown landing: http://i.imgur.com/2pBRNxV.jpg

2. Wallbang and speed afterwards.

I highly suggest you watch his replay, and then mine, or compare them. I think/hope you'll see what I mean.
