Dedimania - Absolute Time Limit???
Hey guys,
so I know that Dedimania stops at a certain time level (if the time is too short)
To avoid that, people usually use the trick to do a bad A.T. On a very short map (you need around 6 secs to drive it) there was an author time of 30 secs + 1 cp (so that circumstances should be enough to activate Dedi for TM2)
Dedi got activated but it somehow only counted down to a certain time level... i haven't tested it out completely but around 8-10 secs i guess it simply stops to take times. It's like there is an absolute time limit anyways which cannot be avoided.
So my Question is: Is that true and does anyone know what that time-limit is?
I just found it really annoying because i did a 100% perfect run (as far as i see it) which would have probably been dedi 1 forever and now it doesn't get taken.
Ps.: If you want, you can take a look at the run here: http://youtu.be/yeQn5LXF7os
(Sry for shitty editing, it's just to show the run )

Re: Dedimania - Absolute Time Limit???
well i could not find the thread this was disccused before, but i try to remember:D
every map without any CP will not be saved, neither maps under 8 sec even if they have a cp. To be saved on dedimania it needs a min of 1 CP and even then it depends on the sector times. so one cp at start and then nothing will not work either ( ithink). in my expirience everything under 12 sec with one weirdly placed cp will not be saved.
(correct me if iam wrong as ia said could not find the topic)
we have a sticky for TMNF

maybe they should sticky sth similar for TM2, if its already exists then nvm but i could not find it
EDIT:
i think it was this one

and this is the discussion i meant:
