Today I came across a strange dedi again, so I had a good look at this guys other records:

He was only active from March to November 2014 and set 7 Dedis in total - 3 of which I find very odd:

he is 0,1 behind at the last checkpoint - yet he finishes with a time close to WR.
I don't see how he could be gaining this much time with nothing more to do than a slight right turn.
The second to last checkpoint also indicates a rather slow speed before the loop.

he is .03 behind at the checkpoint and finishes 0.04 in front of the WR. Very unusual sector pattern compared to the other top players.

different map, same story. This time the sector times are a bit divering between all players in the dedis, but again he's the only one with a pretty bad last sector and a decent finish time.

My theory(!) is that he was using a boost hack which he activates just before the finish line.
Since he was only active in 2014 a dediban woud probably not make much sense, but if you agree with my interpretation it would be nice if you could at least clean up those three entries in doubt.


Also, I have a question to VRBA:
How do you find so many suspicious dedis? I'm glad to help you guys whenever I can (I hate cheaters) but I hardly ever come across cheated times which aren't removed yet.^^

I just happen to have a good eye.

There's a lot you can do by just visiting multiple servers now and then and play there for a short time.

Would be nice to see some replays I guess, 1 or 2 weird entries maybe can be related to luck, but he has many of these.

That login's been on my watch-list for a few months already, but none of his entries on the above tracks strike me as really suspect, with the possible exception of the two CP-devoid ones (YyrBesNgriLbikcONfuLfojE4fc, which we just checked, and Yj7bvZkyPwIuN90QhXImqQfltn0, which is impossible to locate/jukebox).

So for the time being, the benefit of the doubt applies...
